Our Afrikan Woman is the brain behind Zabbaan Holdings. She hails from Mopti in Mali , schooled and trained in Mali and Europe, and is the director of her business both in Mali and France. Her roots,being a region known for its agricultural endowment, informed her interest in Agriculture and has remained committed to the development of the agricultural sector in Mali and Africa at large.
She has been honored for this commitment by several organisations including AfricaFrance Foundation and AFD. Aïssata’s business is into production of juices from locally grown medicinal plants such as hibiscus, baobab,ginger,etc…This business actively works with over 1000 farmers and has been well received both locally and abroad,such that, Zabbaan Holding produces over 10,000 bottles of their juices daily and has solid presence in Mali,Bennin and France.
Even though,there are quite a few challenges,Diakité believes that all entrepreneurs must possess the knowledge to seize opportunities and have relevant association to succeed in this journey. Aïssata is on a journey to promote entrepreneurship among young people. So much from a young Afrikan woman,she deserves our applause and honor. Great job,Sis. Keep at it!
